The company is registered by Kenya's National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) as a Firm of Experts, registration number 6417. Legally registered as an environmental consultant in Kenya, laying the foundation for world-class environmental and OSH consultancy in sub-Saharan Africa.

C&B activates strategic plan version zero, formalising service delivery frameworks, quality standards and geographic expansion targets.
Regional expansion
We enter the Tanzania environmental consultancy market by establishing an office in Arusha, opening doors to new clients across East Africa.
Global network membership
C&B joins Inogen Alliance as sole East Africa representative, connecting clients to 200+ offices and 6,000+ professionals worldwide.

Charles and Barker LTD is a member of Inogen Alliance, established in 2001 to better serve global clients, with more than 200 offices on every continent and 6,000+ staff worldwide. We represent the Alliance as its sole consultant in East Africa.
A single contract with C&B gives access to the full Alliance network. No need to enter separate contracts with each associate, from global programme implementation to local project completion.
